The Languages For All Award

Congratulations to our 2025 Languages For All Award Winner, Jean (Jing) Chen!

This award is presented to an educator whose work in teaching indigenous and/or less commonly taught  languages is innovative and promotes student engagement and appreciation of indigenous language and culture and/or less commonly taught languages.  This award is especially focused on honoring individuals who may have limited access to an active state or national language association to support their work in the classroom.

Description of the Languages for All Award

This award is presented to an educator whose work in teaching indigenous and/or less commonly taught  languages is innovative and promotes student engagement and appreciation of indigenous language and culture and/or less commonly taught languages.  This award is especially focused on honoring individuals who may have limited access to an active state or national language association to support their work in the classroom.

Supporting documentation may not exceed 10 pages and should be submitted to the Awards Committee Chairperson by December 15, 2024. The person completing and submitting the nomination must be a current Advisory Council member. Nominate someone for the Languages for All Award here.
